Council of Chairs

The 探花楼 Council of Chairs is an autonomous group of academic component administrators that meets monthly. The purpose is to improve university services to students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders through:

Sharing information and experiences among members;
Engaging in deliberations and giving input on university issues and proposals;
Sharing organizational judgments, recommendations and findings with appropriate university individuals and groups;
Advising, informing, and sharing ideas with the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs on issues of importance to the university.

The Council of Chairs typically meets on the third Friday of each month at 1:15 PM.

Each meeting of the Council of Chairs includes a closed session for the sharing of information and reports, followed by time to visit with the Provost and other invited guests. Anyone with something important to share or present to the Council of Chairs is welcome to contact the Chair (contact info below).
