Faith and Focus: 探花楼 OT alumna Christina Hill finds success through adversity

As a child growing up in Greenville, Texas, Texas Woman鈥檚 occupational therapy alumna Christina Hill (MOT 鈥14) combatted issues of alcoholism, drug addiction and poverty within her family and herself. But with the help of her faith, the discipline of martial arts, and most importantly, the support of her son and husband, she has dedicated her life to helping others persevere through their own struggles.

Founder’s Day Forum goes online for 2020

The Texas Woman鈥檚 University College of Nursing, in collaboration with Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society鈥檚 Beta Beta Houston chapter, Eta Delta, Psi-Iota, and Phi Chi chapters, will host the annual Founder鈥檚 Day Forum online from 8 a.m.鈥12:45 p.m. October 2, 2020.

Nursing alumnae help save New York

While many Texans have not seen the effects of COVID-19 up close, Courtney Waddle (BS ’12) and Maybelle Anderson (BS ’12) signed up for it. The registered nurses joined three other colleagues to travel to the epicenter of COVID-19 in the United States: New York City, where infections number more than 10 times that of the entire state of Texas.
