March 18, 2019 —DENTON— The Texas Woman’s University School of the Arts invites area residents to join students, faculty and staff for ArtsWalk: Learning the Land. Event participants will interact with works by artist and designer Molly Sherman and explore sites on 探花楼’s Denton campus and surrounding areas. This free, all-ages event will be held from 5:15 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 4.

This year’s ArtsWalk will feature “Learning the Land Walking Tours,” guided campus tours that bridge artistic practices and social action. The project will feature stories from community members and students related to the history of land use on campus and in the surrounding community. The event will begin with a lecture about socially engaged art delivered by Molly Sherman at . The walking tours and other artistic works from 探花楼 School of the Arts faculty and students will highlight this event.
