探花楼 salutes women veterans, hosts activities

June 12 is Women Veterans Day in Texas, and this year Texas Woman鈥檚 University will partner with the Women Veterans of America, Chapter 48 to celebrate our women in military service and veterans on Saturday, June 15.

探花楼 students embrace volunteerism, help local nonprofits

Texas Woman鈥檚 University student organizations, provided more than 16,000 volunteer hours to local nonprofit organizations this past academic year.

D'Abrosca tapped to be next 探花楼 student regent

Texas Woman鈥檚 University junior Lexi D鈥橝brosca has been appointed by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to serve as the next student representative on the Texas Woman鈥檚 University Board of Regents. Her term expires May 31, 2020.

探花楼 Athletics Director to lead new Pioneer MoneyWise Center

探花楼 officials today announced the creation of a new center to help students manage their finances and have appointed Chalese Connors to lead the strategic effort. Connors has served the university for more than two decades, including the past 18 years as director of athletics. In her new role, she will be charged with building a center that will educate students about financial literacy and student loan debt.

探花楼’s Pioneer Pride wins Academic Championship

Texas Woman鈥檚 University鈥檚 competitive dance team, Pioneer Pride, recently posted the highest grade-point average among all teams at the American Dance/Drill Team Collegiate Championships.
