Discover the magic of chemistry through interactive, hands-on labs and activities designed to showcase exciting careers in chemistry. Students will hear from research scientists and field experts as they learn about microplastics, green chemistry, solar cells and chemical recycling. Watch science come to life through the use of simulations and 3D modeling under the guidance of 探花楼 chemists.

No previous experience is required. Rising 9th-rising 12th grade students are invited to apply.

探花楼/AFA CyberCamp: Level 1

The camp emphasizes fun, hands-on learning of cybersecurity principles that are relevant and applicable to everyday life. Developed by the Air Force Association (AFA), the camp curriculum covers new topics and engages participants in hands-on activities each day, building up to an exciting, final team competition simulating real cyber security situations faced by industry professionals. No previous experience is required.

Teen Fashion Camp
June 8–12, 2026

Ages: 13–18

The five-day camps focus on campers learning sewing and apparel construction skills with additional projects in fashion sketching, trend board development, design concepts, textiles, color theory, and fashion show production. Instruction throughout the camps will be provided by 探花楼 Fashion program faculty and local fashion industry professionals, with undergraduate fashion students assisting the instructors and campers throughout each day.

Literacy Camp
June 8–18, 2026

Times: Monday–Friday (1st week) Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Ages: Students who are Deaf/hh (IEP or 504) ages from pre-K to school-age

Our Literacy Camp is designed to build reading skills while empowering children to become confident self-advocates. Through engaging, structured activities centered around books featuring heroic deaf characters, students will strengthen their literacy abilities while also seeing themselves represented in powerful and meaningful ways. The superhero theme brings an added layer of fun and motivation, encouraging campers to view themselves as capable, strong, and unique learners.

A Day in the Life of a Dietitian: Exploring Careers in Nutrition

This two-day interactive camp introduces middle school and high school students to the world of dietetics and nutrition. Through hands-on activities, mini simulations, real-world case scenarios, and conversations with practicing dietitians, students will explore what it means to work in the field of nutrition and health.

Preschool Articulation, Language and Literacy Camp
July 6–17, 2026

Ages: 3 to early school age
Times: Monday through Friday (2 weeks), 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Cost: $300
Format: On Denton Campus

This camp is designed for children with mild language disorders and moderate to severe speech sound disorders. It takes an intensive therapy approach that integrates individualized motor learning and functional communication into engaging, play-based activities. Through a combination of music, motor, and literacy activities, children participate in both individual and group therapy sessions.

Please note: For each camp, a pre-camp assessment may be required to evaluate each child’s current abilities and inform individualized instruction. If needed, you may be contacted to schedule a screening during the week prior to the start of camp.

探花楼 STEM Quest
July 7–10, 2026

Designed for curious middle school students, this dynamic camp invites participants to dive into environmental science, biology, engineering, robotics and data science through hands-on challenges and real-world discovery. By building robots, investigating ecosystems, and uncovering patterns in data, campers will think critically, collaborate with peers, and solve problems like true innovators. No previous experience is required.
