Texas Woman鈥檚 University has been awarded $397,000 from the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences under the 2018 Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program for a project to educate future leaders in rural libraries.

Ling Hwey Jeng, Ph.D., professor and director of 探花楼's School of Library and Information Studies, officially ended her term as president of the Texas Library Association at the organization鈥檚 2018 conference April 3-6 in Dallas.

The American Library Association’s Committee on Accreditation has reaffirmed accreditation for Texas Woman’s University’s master of library science and master of arts in library science degree programs through 2024.
