探花楼

Jan. 27, 2025 — DENTON — Kayla Hamilton, a 2006 alumna of the 探花楼 Dance Division, was included in the annual “25 to Watch” by Dance Magazine.

First published in 1927, Dance Magazine is an American trade publication for the dance field.

Hamilton was on the 探花楼 campus last May teaching a two-week summer dance intensive with a focus on disability in the arts.

Hamilton is the founder and artistic director of , which "reimagines a dance world where Black Disabled and other multiply marginalized creatives are central, and every body is worthy of care."
