Schedule and Registration
When and where is Homecoming?
Homecoming is April 16-18, 2026, on the 探花楼 Denton campus.
What do I need to know about the 2026 Homecoming schedule?
Homecoming kicks off on Thursday evening, April 16, with Pioneer Palooza – a student-centered event with alumni participation. However, most of the alumni activities and events occur on Friday and Saturday.
The Friday schedule includes the Alumni Achievement Awards Luncheon and the campus-wide celebration of 探花楼's 125th anniversary. Tours and other self-guided events are also available.
Saturday consists of special alumni gatherings throughout the day and class reunions in the evening.

Do I need to register?
We strongly encourage advance registration, though we will do our best to accommodate walk-up attendees. Some events, like the Alumni Achievement Awards Luncheon, require pre-registration so we can ensure adequate space and refreshments.
What does my registration fee include?
Your $50 registration fee includes two full days of exciting programming, a seat at the Alumni Achievement Awards luncheon and a Homecoming t-shirt.
How do I register?
Registration for Homecoming is now closed. While we will do our best to accommodate any walk-ups at each event, please be aware that there may not be space.

Where do I park, and is there a shuttle?
Thursday, April 16 (after 5:00 p.m.)
- Parking is available in the Oakland lot, located at Oakland St. and Third St.
Overflow parking is available at the Lowry Woods Community lot if needed
Friday, April 17
- Parking is available in the Oakland lot, located at Oakland St. and Third St.
- The Visitor Lot, near Brackenridge Hall and Hubbard Hall, will be reserved for priority guests who may need closer access to the buildings
- Overflow parking is available at the Lowry Woods Community lot if needed
Saturday, April 18
- Parking is available in the Oakland lot, located at Oakland St. and Third St.
- The Visitor Lot, near Brackenridge Hall and Hubbard Hall, will be reserved for priority guests who may need closer access to the buildings
- Overflow parking is available at the Lowry Woods Community lot as the next closest option; all other campus parking is open to visitors on Saturday if needed

General
What does my registration fee include?

What if there is inclement weather?
The majority of Homecoming events are indoors. In the case of inclement weather, all outdoor events will be moved indoors to the Student Union at Hubbard Hall or Alumni House. The Schedule of Events page will be updated with each event's new rain location if there are changes, and we will also send out email communications to attendees as needed.
What should I wear?
The attire for most Homecoming events is casual. Recommended attire for the Alumni Achievement Awards Luncheon on Friday is business business casual, but please feel free to come as you are.
Can I bring my pet to Homecoming?
Pets and animals are generally not permitted in 探花楼 buildings. Service animals, service animals in training, and assistance animals are welcome. For more on these university policies, visit the 探花楼 Animals on Campus webpage.
