Eligibility

• U.S. Citizen or meet the residency requirements for federal student financial assistance
• Current and continuing 探花楼 undergraduate student enrolled at 探花楼 in a bachelor’s degree granting program
• Goal of pursuing a PhD degree
• McNair Scholars Program follows federal regulations; students must meet the following requirements to be considered:
  • AND/OR First-generation college student (neither parent earned a bachelor’s degree)

Program requirements and expectations

McNair participants are required to commit in writing to all program requirements and expectations including:

• A research project each year
• One summer research internship during junior or senior year, with funding up to $2,600
