Pioneer Honor Band Festival

Friday-Saturday, November 20-21, 2026

We hope you will join us at 探花楼 for the 8th Annual Pioneer Honor Band Festival - a weekend of Honor Band rehearsals, masterclasses, special command performances by 探花楼 ensembles, the grand finale Festival Concert, and much more. This year, we are excited to welcome our 2026 Honor Band composer and clinician Frank Ticheli. Participants are accepted through DIRECTOR RECOMMENDATION ONLY and space is LIMITED so make sure your nomination gets in as soon as possible. We hope to see you in November!

Participation includes:

Membership in the 2026 Pioneer Honor Band with the finest high school students in the area. Students are accepted through director recommendation only.
Masterclass with applied faculty
Special Q&A session with our guest clinician, Frank Ticheli
Special performances on Friday and Saturday by 探花楼 ensembles
Festival concert experience on Saturday evening
Pioneer Honor Band souvenir t-shirt

Discounts available for 2025-2026 High School All-Region, All-Area, and All-State Participants
