Bioblitz pairs scientists, citizens in discovery event

探花楼’s School of the Sciences, led by assistant professor of Environmental Science Dr. Kelly Albus, held a six-hour citizen science effort on the 探花楼 Denton campus that blends scientists and community members in an engaging exercise to explore and document local biodiversity.

Simone Lang, a 探花楼 graduate and student researcher in the Division of Chemistry and Biochemistry, has been awarded a 2026 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship.

探花楼 to host Robotics Invitational Nov. 11

The College of Arts and Sciences and the Computer Science Division will host the first 探花楼 Pioneer Robotics Invitational on Nov. 11. Teams of 2-3 students will design, build and drive robots, and winning teams will win a $1,500 team scholarship.
